Would these to type of pulleys work on a 01 camaro? What is the difference between a 14% underdrive, and a 10% overdrive alternator pulley? Also how hard is it to remove stock alternetor pulley and install the new one?Comment

an underdrive pulley "under-powers" the accessory it's attached to. An overdrive pulley "over-powers" the accessory it's attached to.Originally posted by bigralph 2

the really arnt...if uve already dont every other bolt on u can do and have money to burn y not do it...but they really dont give u much of a hp boost

3.8s are already 'under pullied'.
My brother put underdrive pullies on the 3.4. Install was pretty easy. An impact wrench helps a lot though, because the alternator bolt is ON thereBlack \'94 Trans Am A4- SLP CAI & Loudmouth<br />Red \'93 Firebird A4- Ram Air under the WS6 hood, !cat, exhaust.Comment
