    I see that I have transmission fluid on the ground. I changed to main shaft seal in the back and it has not leaked for about 4 months. Does anyone know why it is leaking or from wear from ?

    let me bust out my god like vision and look at your car through the internet or just tell you what you could do yourself, look where it is coming from :rolleyes:

      Are you Sure its TRANNY FLUID? is it RED?

        Check if something pulled your dipstick loose, assuming its an automatic.

        '96 Trans Am M6:) Cam, lifters, 1.6rr, lt4 springs, 4 bolt mains, long tubes, TDs, short throw...etc

                  I had a tranny leak and it turns out all i needed to do was tighten the pan bolts which where very loose.
