  • Fuel injector problems! PLease help!

    I just finished replacing the intake plenum gasket on my 20002 camaro, but Im having trouble getting the injectors to go back in! does anyone have any advice?

    ahmmmm the rail should slide right over the intake, cant imagine what the hold up would be

      I have the injectors over the intake, I just cant get them to plug back into the holes on the engine where they are supposed to go back in.

      I'll try to post some pics sometime soon I just havent had time.

            lightly grease the o rings, and bottom of injectors, then they will slip right in. i had the same problem.

                You could use gasoline, but it would be better (and safer) if you use vaseline (petroleum jelly). vaseline will not affect the rubber o-ring, and will not foul up the injector (if you use too much and it gets all over the place) cause it can readily be disolved by gas.
