  • These prices sound good?

Well since my motor has a spun bearing and I need this car back on the road, which one should I go for? Swapping into my 99 Camaro

Description + miles on motor | Distance to location | From?
    1.) 3.8 with 28k $900 - 81 Miles - from a 99 camaro
    2.) 3.8 with 37k $750 - 81 Miles - from a 00 camaro
    3.) 3.8 with 98k $500 - 132 Miles - from a 00 camaro
    4.) 3.8 with 47k $750 - 171 Miles - 01 firebird

I am leaning towards number 2. Whatever motor I get will receive ALL new gaskets and seals.

i think number 2 is probably your best bet, it always depends on physical condition, and where and how the donor was hit or why its been retired

I am actually going to swap motors, and then I'd like to build up my used motor that is knocking in my garage and over the winter / spring and probably run boost in the FAR future. I would like to be able to run high 13's NA once the motor is built. I plan on running this new motor easy until I get the old one built up. As for the T-5, I am gonna run it till it breaks/shatters/sh!ts on me. Then I will get a junkyard T-5 and send it off to have it built. Only thing holding me back is money.

My family has always drove standard.....as for me just too much fun. After working on the car this weekend a transmission swap isn't very hard at all. I will run this T-5 till it blows then blow another :D
