my brake light is on and wont go off and i basicaly have to push the brake pedel almost all the way just to stop whats going on. and anotherthing my alarm isnt working the ligh that usualy blinks the u trgger the a;arm is on solid and and wont go off unless u start the car

If you have little brake fluid, the pedal has to be depressed more to push the needed amount of fluid through the lines and thus move the caliper.

The light turns on if:
-parking brake is on
-low brake fluid
-catastrophic failure of the brake system
Brake fluid doesn't just get "low" on its own. You have a leak somewhere. It needs to be fixed or your brakes may fail completely without warning at the worst possible time. Brake fluid will boil first. Could he have enough water [=bad] in the brake system that the level goes down that much when he got it hot?

If he was standing on the brake doin' donuts, he might have popped a line too. If you boil the brake fluid, would you have to completely bleed it all out and start with fresh fluid?Comment
