    Re: Back window/door

i had a similar problem and came to find that the noise was actualy coming from the latch that secures the top part of my back seats in place. i just greased it up and it was fine.

well the only way to fix it is to figure out what exactly is rattling. It could be anything back there. Maybe have someone ride back there and try to figure it out as you drive.

we can't really help ya out on that problem till you pinpoint where it is coming from or what it is

Here are 3 different ideas that you can try one at a time.

              1. Check the spare tire and jack, make sure they are stowed properly.

              2. The rear hatch has two little bumpers located in the rear corners. Try to back them out a little. That will tighten of the tension on the latch, it might help.

              3. Put the back seat down, see if the noise goes away. If it does then it is the seat that is rattling.

One of two of those little bumper things i guess the trunk was slammed so hard one of them went thru the fiber so we had to put a piece of metal and put it thru their ill take a picture cuz its hard to explain it might be the problem

                  Re: Back window/door

Part of owning a fbody is driving around trying to figure out where rattles are coming from. I usually drive for a little while then pull over and mess with something and see if it stopped the rattle.

nascar24jd had some good suggestions. The spare tire is a pretty common rattle.
