  • Need Help Removing Back Seats

I'm removing my back seats. I have the two small foam pieces out, and I am working on taking the back out. I have the 2 bolts out, the ones midway up the backrest on each side, but I can't remove the back because of the seat belts. How do you get the backseats out? If I remove the seatbelts, how do I get the screws on the bottom of car out, or should I just take off the shoulder loops? Anyone? Thanks!

I removed those bolts midway up that you already have done. Then I took the seatbelt assemblys out. It's not that hard really. I took out the bolts on the bottom of the cat, removed the female seatbelt thingies and replaced the bolts. Then I removed the upper part of the seatbelts along with the plastis parts on the seat. You actually need to replace the lower bolts to keep water out of the car.

Mine are torx bolts. I took out the 2 bottom pieces, then the bottom seatbelt pieces, then the upper seatblet pieces, then the upper part of the seat.

Sorry, but torx? I have nothing in my house in the star shape of those bolts... The seatbelts I have ouse, but the shoulder holders I also cannot get out. Anything I can use? Or will I have to go buy a specially shaped screwdriver?
