  • unknown backfire PLEASE HELP!!!

I have had a problem with a backfire in my 99 has done this three different times with two different computers. Each time it sounds and feels like speed bump at 20 mph and bottomed out the car. the it will not start for at least 20 minutes.

I have put on headers with a small leak at egr, cai, descreened maf, air intake lid definned, and pcm for less pcm.

I have no idea what is wrong with this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

you can start by putting the screen back on your maf...since you kinda need that...do you have an AFR gauge? sounds like your going rich as piss and flooding the motor?

Yeah, if you take out the screen it can give your MAF some false reading.

call PCMforless. Did they tune for all your mods and descreened maf?

Id throw it back on and send it out and tell them its screened. Really cna only get away with that if you are on a dynotune and even then i wouldnt.
