    I'd recommend a magnetic drain plug to catch them metallic shavings you saw in your oil. Not sure what thread size and pitch your current pan is but compare when you order before your next oil change.

      I think they all are magnetic...


      jsut get a new drainplug, but that is pretty crazy that you couldn't get it off with vice grips, thats pretty harcore tight.
