    I have a 94 3.4L camaro

When i rev the engine (not driving) .. just still I notice that it coughs back at me after i get to a decent RPM.. usually over 2k rpm.. I have had ppl that work on cars tell me its normal.. but i still know theres a reason for it and I want to fix it.. i want a clean rev. Does anyone know what causes the engine to cough up on the way back down from the rev? It dosen't affect performance.. just gets annoying..
