You know how the fuel pump has a steady hiss sound when you turn the car on and it continues while you're driving? Well, mine has started to sound unsteady, like it's being shaken. Does anyone know if this is bad?

Re: Fuel Pump Sounds Unsteady
I would replace my fuel filter dude. It might be constricted at this point, especially if you have never changed it. WARNING. you are going to have gas spilt so dont like be smoking and do this or anything crazy. Dont lay under it like I did my first time either. Gas tastes bad. When you have the old filter out blow in the end and see if it flows fairly freely out the other side. Or cut it open. Cheap thing to try before you go and replace the fuel pump.
