    my low trac light comes on when i mash on the brakes and the ABS kicks in. just my 2 cents.

      when mine comes on the brakes stop working temporarly and the car keeps moving! thats scary cuz i dont wanna rear end someone:eek:

        the brakes cut out because the abs senors are reading the wheels are locked so the reduce brake presure...change your brake fluid or check the sensors...our cars have issues with the senors getting clogged but not failing

          I'm not to sure about that, unless 'low trac' means somthign else in my car. I have a 97. I've noticed it comes on if I take a turn too fast, or am going too fast on interstate in the rain. It's done it right before i loose grip/feel like i'm about to loose grip.

            How come the brake on my car says ABS and theres an ABS light on the dash and theres an ABS fuse but i dont have a Anti-Lock Braking System?! im confuzzled

              1. i think pumpkin gear is actually an obsolete term now, i heard it somewhere on the powerblock.

              3. maybe ur abs is not working, changing ur brake fluid helps, happened on mine
