Okay I bought a 95 3.4 Camaro a couple of months back. It just recently started to make a ticking sound. It seems to come from within the engine bay. It's not there when I first start the car but it seems that once it warms up it starts. It's not incredibly loud but you can kinda hear it from within the car. When I rev it, it seems to go away. Also my oil pressure has been acting wierd too. It use to be around 60psi the whole time but recently it's only at like 58-60psi at start up but when it warms up it drops to like 30psi at idle and then goes back up to 60 when under load. This seems to correspond with the ticking because when the oil pressure is around 60psi there's no tick but when it drops the ticking starts. Could this just be coincedence? The car had 114k on it at the time of purchase but now has 115k. The guy said that it would need a oil change within 3k. I'm going to be changing the oil but would like to know if it could be anything else. I don't think it's a stuck lifter because we just had one of those in a work truck at my job and that was alot louder and was there on startup and got louder when the engine reved. Could it be something with the oil or injector tick possibly?

Re: Injector tick maybe?
can be hard to tell the difference between an injector or something in the drivetrain.
you need to try to locate the problem with a stethoscope or something
