  • Feels like the tranny slipping

Hey I have a 95, 5speed camaro 3.4 when ur goin down the road just cruisin and hit the gass full throttle the rpms shoot up bout to 4 grand and then it catches and they come back down it feels like theres a vibration in the rearend when this happens but cant say for sure. But when you u stop then give it full throttle thru the gears it doesnt slip at all. Any ideas??

    Sounds like the clutch...

when you shift it hard into the next gear do the rpms fly up?

Also a little test is put it in a gear higher then what you should be like 5th gear going 40ish, then slam the gas hard and see what the rpms do...

how many miles on your car?
