:p so im checkin my coils and i got the shock of life like 20 times haha So how do i tell if a coil is bad? Most of them are like purplish and my number 2 and 5 cylinder coil are orangy colored So would that cause the motor to sputter at all throughout the rpm range!?

you probably lost like 1/2 of your brain cells. better put in a claim on your life insurance, they might kick you down a couple thousand.

haha Yeah when I was listening for misfires with it running I pried a screwdriver under the plug wire by the coil to pull it off and see if I heard it drop off and I had no gloves on. Did not feel good. Neither did carb cleaner in my eyes.

lmao i was wearing gloves tho and the pliars i had had electrical tape around the two little tong things and i still get shocked like crazy .. It felt good and bad at the same time .. its hard to explain haha But yea are the coils hard to switch out?

dont touch or lean on the car wile your doing it and you shouldnt get shocked since your not grounding to the car

i leaned all over the car when i changed mine...i didnt get a shock?
