lol

hey I need to do a coolant flush, but I have NO idea where the block plugs are to release the fluid from it... :( can anyone give me a good descrip. where I can find em? its a 97 3800 series. Is it under the heating manifolds? Will I have to get under the car to release em? Thanks!
My coolant is gross looking, has bits of goo in it all over.. so I figured now would be a good time for it

I wouldn't take out the core plugs to flush it. I would take it somewhere and have them flush it with a machine. It works so much better and is faster then trying to do it yourself.

How much would I be looking at if I supply the coolant? ( already bought it all lol ) Thanks!

I work at Jiffy Lube, we charge 50 bucks for a flush.

On my 96, It's on the passengers side at the very bottem, I would assume it's the same for the 97's. There is also a screw close to the thermostat you need to loosen to bleed the system once your done. It's not too hard to flush it yourself, Took me about 2 hours to flushe it myself. What took the longest was waiting for the car to cool back down between flushes.
