So, my shift cable for my 95 3.4 Auto Camaro came in, today me and a buddy took the old one out, threw the new one in, everything went smooth until we tried to hook the adapter at the end of the cable to the shifter on the transmission. We can't get it to "click" in. We checked the haynes manual and it says to turn the ajustment button. We aren't sure where, or what that is, however you can rotate part of the adapter, but as far as we can tell it doesn't do a damn thing.
There the exact same except for the part that attaches to the transmission bracket. The old one just pryed off but the new one just slides on and off really easy and the Hayne's manual mentions something about locking it on but we can't find anything that locks it to the bracket. Also his new one is the same one that I have on my camaro so we know it's for his car.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
