What are the signs of a failing fuel pump.
I've noticed on my A/F ratio gauge that under WOT my A/F is running just under stoich. It used to go almost all the way rich. Under partial throttle, it stays at stoich when it used to go 2 bars above.
I tried some injector cleaner which helped a little, not a lot. Is this a sign of impending doom of my fuel pump? I need to autotap my car, but I need to borrow my friends laptop because mine fried. Is there anything that autotap could tell me if it's a problem with my fuel pump. I would think that if the duty cycle of the injectors are higher than normal, wouldn't that mean the injectors are staying open longer to compinsate for less fuel pressure? Or am I off here?
Oh yea, I have 133k and its a stock pump.
