if you use wet nitrous, other than that no not really.

ZZP has them for our cars. I bought one and it was noghitn noticeable but it would halep for 1-4hp. Other than that it blocks off the coolant from the TB so it stays cooler thus keeping the air cooler going into the engine.01\'Y87 Firebird:Gt1 cam,Vig.3000 stall

I don't know about power, but i gained about 2-3 miles per gallon after i installed mine.
