PAers! Emmisions law question

Ok two parter- 1) With the SLP hi-flow will it throw a code if I dont throw on an oxy simulator?

2) If it does and I throw on the simulator will I beable to pass the new OBDII emmissions testing now that they are only checking for codes?

My instinct is that I will be fine but i kinda would like to hear it from someone else- Ian I am thinking this is your set up but I could be wrong...

By the way I am probably throwin a borla catback on to follow that all up...

I don't live in PA and currently there is no emission testing in NYS. But, I added a Catco high flow cat and I did throw a code on a 2001. I then bought an O2 Sim (from Thunderracing) and it cleared the code. I never had the emissions tested to see if it would still pass with the high flow.

yeah, you can get rid of the codes with sims. i havent heard, are they eliminating the sniff test and just going to check for codes?

Yea from now on it is all code tested statewide. Allentown used to be one of the exempt areas it was great but now i gotta watch out for it.

so no sniff test, but a single code and you fail? looks like I got a lot of work to do before this fall. :(
