So far... So good...
I got it today, it took about 5 minutes to transfer all my settings. I simply did the 87 Octane tuning with no speed limiter, and the 160degF fan setting (It kicks on the low speeds around 185 and the highs around 194... sounds good to me). I just drove it and the coolant stayed at a reasonable temp and never touched the straightup position, the fans seem to be working properly, and so far I don't have an SES light or anything for the 160 stat.
Hopefully this cured my 160 stat issues and all. Oh yeah, the stock revlimiter was 5800 RPM So I set it to 6000 :D . And I set the top speed to 255mph just to get rid of it for good .
So, if you want one, and you've got a 2000-2002, it seems to work great and do what it says without a flaw.
So, I recommend the Hypertech, I think it is a good unit. Its simple to use and kind of fun and exciting to use I only wish it worked for the previous year models which are more heavily modified right now... Anyways, go get one!
I'll be track testing this on friday to see if it does anything performance wise. The car doesn't "Feel" slower and seems quite peppy, but I'm not coming to conclusions yet. In a gear too tall for the speed though (like 15mph in 3rd) I have no problems with lugging though like I would if I gave it gas - it actually takes off smoothly and lug-free... who knows what they did but it seems to be good .

Oh - Meant to mention that today I reinstalled my 160° stat and added some waterwetter to the mix just to get it working nicely.
