Well, I think my Camaro is nearing some sort of death. :( It feels like the car is going to shut off when it's idling, and during acceleration, the car shudders, and seems like it doesn't want to shift gears. Any ideas? It feels similar to when my MAF blew on my 1989 RS.

tap your MAF then and see if anything happens when idling. It might be your MAF again with your 99 -

Check your coils homeslice .. Mine was doing the exact same thing till i got new coils and spark plugs and some plug wiresComment

Check your coils, plugs and wires. Also, make sure you don't have any vacuum leaks. A vacuum leak will make it want to die when idling among other things while driving.Comment

my car still does it but not for long since i got new plugs and coils it goes much quicker i just need the wires and it will be gone for good! woo i got 3 packs of coils on jegs for 98$ mad cheap they were so easy to replaceComment

found out the mech. said i needed a MAJOR tune up. plugs, wires, the whole 9. did the whole thing for 400, pick my car up today.
