help please

Well as some of you may know I had the intake manifold replaced on my car and the shop really messed it up. Well I got them to pay for the dealer to do it. The dealer said they have never seen such crap work.... Well since then the car has been running very well. Well about 2 weeks ago I went to start the car and it made this loud clank noise and would did start. Got out of the car looked under the hood nothing. Went to start it again started just fine but idle rough. Let it set for a few mins and the idle smoothed out. Well to day it did the same thing. I think both times it did it the car sat for a few days. What could this be???? I'm kind of getting sick of the car I think I want a new motor.

I say take it back to the dealer and tell them that you're still have a problem with the engine.

thats strange, seems like it could be a vac issue...or something related to the throttle body.

Well I called the dealer today. The guy that did the work wasnt in and the guy talked to said he not for sure but he doesnt think theres anything they can do cuz it been almost 2 months since they had it
