Lately every once in a while after I lock it and shut the door, it honks at me. About a minute after shutting the door, it will be twice as if someone pressed the panic button (not the two quick beeps as if I had locked it with the remote entry). Is this some sort of code for something going bad??

Could be a loose ground wire...or wire in general.
Once in a while my alarm will go off while im driving, figured out i have a bad connection.
Also if i hit a bump, my interior lights turn on and then dim off. Freaky stuff.
Could be a wireing problem, thats what i would look into.<a href=\"http://www.pbase.com/danny83/car_pix\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.pbase.com/danny83/root</a><br /><a href=\"http://community.webshots.com/user/ttopbird96\" target=\"_blank\">http://community.webshots.com/user/ttopbird96</a> [/URL]<br />00 NMB Formula M6<br />323.4HP, 336.5TQ<br />Lid, Filter, Cutout, all else stock :)<p>\"Let the modding begin!\"

You sure it's not possessed?? I gave the interior a decent scrubbing today, maybe it's not mad at me anymore. ;)www.RedLineVSix.com || 1996 Camaro, 15.159@92.5mph

I am having the same problem!! All of a sudden out of the blue about 2 months ago I set my alarm on arm like I always used to do. Then about 5 seconds later the alarm goes off with 2 honks then stops. It still does this. Whats going on here, I dont understand how it could be a loose wire?Email: Preki1212@hotmail.com

I think it is because you arming the car with the keyless remote before you are closing the door.2001 SOM Camaro SS<p>Direct flo lid---Lakewood LCAs----Edelbrock Torque Arm-----Lous Short Stick---Dynomouth 3\" Exhaust---SLP Center Mount Exhaust---Poly tranny and torque arm mounts.<p>My site....http://community.webshots.com/album/49413018hRfdbP

Hey my car is possessed too but it just likes being wrecked I swerved to miss a deer and it went out of control and I jumped a ditch and hit the field then a little after that was fixed I hit a deer and 6 days after I got the deer thing fixed I got rearended. All is well right now and my car almost has a new paint job so I ain't complaining.
Thanks,

Not sure if you were referring to me, but I hit the lock button on the door as I'm getting out, then I shut the door and walk away. Then it beeps.www.RedLineVSix.com || 1996 Camaro, 15.159@92.5mph

Bust out your owners manual -- you can set all the alarm / lock / etc. settings by putting the car in program mode and pressing some buttons, switches. You might just have to reset all of these, as maybe one is incorrectly set for some reason (got reset somehow).
If you're in MD you can borrow my 97 Manual.

Mine does weird stuff w/ the alarm too. Sometimes, when I lock the doors, it'll only beep once. Sometimes it won't beep at all. Sometimes it'll beep the normal two times. When it beeps once, I'll be like wtf, and I'll unlock it, then lock it, it'll still beep once, I'll repeat it a few times, and eventually (usually) it'll beep twice. Sometimes not at all. It's really weird. There was a month period a while back that it only beeped once at all.Kyle M<br />--------------<br /><a href=\"http://grdws6.netfirms.com\" target=\"_blank\">2002 Trans Am WS6</a> (silver, A4) - lid, cutout, stage 3 shift kit, 12 bolt, vig 3200, tranny cooler, bmr sfc/stb, torq thrust ii. <b>12.688 @ 106.47mph -=- 1.756 60\'</b>
