Quick question...How did you guys get a full 3rd gear (1:1 ratio) dyno pull? Did you remove or disable the speed limiter? Or did you just shut it down when the limiter kicked in? Yeah I was referring to 3rd for auto cars like mine. But you are correct 1:1 would be 4th gear on a manual. The hole reason why I haven't put my car on the dyno yet is I have heard many people say they have not got a full run do to the limiter. I mean in my car at 118mph I'm at like only 4300-4700rpm with the 3.08s in the rear...so...if all I can pull to is 4500rpm it would really be a waste of time and money in my opinion. What have all you done to get a good dyno on your cars? Thanks for the help.

typo...
unplug the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) Sticks out the side of the tranny, I have heard on 5-speed cars it will cause it to stall out at speeds coming to a top, then idling...
Doesn't read the vehicle speed thus will not hit a speed limiter also won't tell you your speed but you are on a Dyno, so it doesn't matter...
