I have a sensor that turns my front lights on automatically. It sometimes turns my front lights on during daytime when I want them off... how can I create an override switch for this so I can turn the sensor off and on?

You should probably do a search for this.
I know on 97+ Camaros, there is a photoresistor underneath the dash, right by the factory LED for the alarm. All you have to do is cut the wires from the photodiode and short them together (the ones coming from the car)1999 C5
2000 Ford Lightning
Don\'t hate me because I\'m awesome

Why not just unplug it and put a piece of wire into the plug then wrap it with tape?\" As being is to becoming, so is pure itellect to opinion, so is science to belief, and understanding to the peception of shadows.\" - Plato
