take some jumper cables, ground the negative and put powr to that bad boy lol it will crank the car if it is good. or you could take it off the car and ake it to autozone and have it tested. either way its free. lol

The only problem I see with that is they car runs right now. So everything is working right now so if I put juice to it if it's working now will that even tell me anything? I mean if its starting to go bad but is currently working will that even show if it is bad?

thats what i was saying before i found out your other key worked lol just go to the dealership so they can reprogram your other key lol. just telling you how :)

But they key i'm using now..didnt work earlier this month so why now is my question? and did you need to replace the key and the ignition switch ?

The computer chip in the key has to be reprogrammed for the ignition switch. Possibilities of your originial key working with a new ignition switch without it being reprogrammed is very minimal. Also, when you get your original key back, try cleaning off your computer chip by blowing on it and taking a Q-tip and rubbing it down trying to get any possible dust off of it.

yea, if you cange the ignition switch the key has to be reprogrammed for the new part that was installed. i say its the ignition switch that is malfunctioning. that is the cheapest route to start with.

Ha figures ran all day and when i went to leave it wont start. This time I just get one click and thats it.
