On the Camaro RS would you say it has about the same clearance as the "beefer" Firebirds with the much larger front end? Considering that RS, but student parking lot has some nasty bumps that I dont' want to bottom out on.

If you ever have the spare on don't attempt large speed bumps. I crushed the cat on my way to get my tire fixed. I payed $130 for a new tire and $160 for a Xtremeflow cat.1994 Chevrolet Camaro 3.4L A4 (160hp 200tq)
2006 Nissan 350Z 3.5L M6 (300hp 260tq)

I dont have the RS package and I still botom out alot, I just do the same as everyone elts says and hit the bumps at a 45* angle to keep the center from hiting.
at my school I try to back into spaces, the rear of the car cleares the cement and if I go too far all I hit is the stock muffiler.
Brings me to a funny story, probibly the last week of Highschool and me and some friends were cutting class so I ran out to the camaro, jumped in started it up and dumped it into drive, unfortunately I didnt hit the opening in the curb and I hit the biger piece that was 4" high and botomed out the car on the cat, luckely I got it off without any real damage but I almost got cought by the principal ~chris~ 98 Cayenne red Camaro 3800 A4, 3:08, T tops Borla cat-back, wisper lid K&N, Bilstine shocks, Dunlops all around.
AOL IM: chevyboyz24

If you're really having troubles with bottoming out, try replacing your shocks(if you care enough too). I replaced mine and found that it tremendously helped me out. I don't bottom out nearly as much and can drive straight through hazards that I used to have to hit at an angle.- JT3
1998 Red V6 Camaro Y87 Y3F - J.E.T.
