hey guys, after doing a search i think i have a bad fpr. i have really hard starts and my exhaust smells like gas for the first 10-15 sec. if i shut the car off and start it up within 1-4 mins it starts up fine. but if it sits longer it takes a few seconds.... my question is how much does this part cost and how hard is it to replace... its a 99firebird... thanks for the help

get an aftermarket adjustable one....it's cheaper than stock and you can up the fuel pressure later if you decide to run boost. The fuel pressure regulator on the 3.8 is different than the one for the 3.4.
