Is there a belt that goes around the A/C pullys??

The LT1's can run without a belt at the track because their waterpump is cam driven, not belt driven. ;)

Not a good idea to run a 3.8 without a belt (even for just a 1/4 mile). :(

Ah, thats why I had seen some owners just take out their belt.

Yeah Magnus I still use my tensioner pulley.
and if anyone cant find the belt lemme know and I
can get it for you no prob.For me w/ my tensioner pulley, the 61" was to short and the 62"was to long.And Magnus your right it was tough to get on.

if you are only going to use it for the track why dont you bypass your power steering as well you can get a belt for that

Alternator pulley off is doable at the track depends on your battery. When my alternator cable corroded off I drove about 20 min. with no alternator hooked up.
