i just bought a new serpentine belt, and the guy asked me if i had air condition or not, so just say u dont and maybe it will fit, but it might mess up the patern of the beltCamaro 95 3.4L M5
Flowmaster 80srs
Catco High Flo Cat
Slp CAI
Prime wheels

yea..like when the A/C pulley gets in the way.
if you wanna get rid of your A/C -- GM MAKES a A/C-delete pulley, you take out your A/C and you put the pulley in its place.
much easier than trying to just get around it IMO.

Or if you're just running at the track just take off the belt. You'll be good for awhile.2002 Camaro SS 6 Spd
Sebring Silver Metallic
Still breaking it in
Traded in - 2002 V6 5 Spd Camaro.
\"I\'ll never trust squirrels again.\"

No, it's not a joke.
If you can deal with manual steering and are confident that you have a good battery - you'd probably be good quite awhile. I'm not confident enough to say how long, but I know of plenty who have done it.
So, what were you implying? Your battery would drain dead? Uhh.. no. Just turn off electronics and you're good.

Hmm.. I almost thought there were 2 separate belts?
(I've seen other F-Bods do this, V8s)
Perhaps there is another belt out there that can be bought to replace the one

For the 3.8 I found a belt that bypass the A/C pulley and the one idler pulley. And you dont need a delete pulley. And Cale w/ out running the belt how are you turning the crank pulley? Not to offend you but why do something like that, I tried every way to get the belt to go around just the crank and altinator but wouldnt work. At my web site I took a pic of the belt and notice that it runs from the crank to the water pump to the tension pulley to the altinator down to the power steering.

Well... I was implying a separate belt that would rid of use of the A/C, like you just described.
You don't even need to run the alternator as long as the battery is good (OF COURSE ONLY FOR 1/4 MILE RUNS for a FINITE amount of time)

Oh ok. yeah I have a belt that totaly bypasses the A/C pulley and the little idler pulley in between the A/C pulley and the altinator. Id be leery of running the 1/4 mile w/out the alt. just because its safer.2000 Black T/A M6 343rwhp 349rwtq
11.94 @ 118 60\'1.79 Stock Internal
http://www.cardomain.com/id/demonicbird00
AIM: W68Firebird97
R.I.P... W68Firebird97, do you still use the tensioner pulley?
I run a 610K6 belt and bypass the tensioner also. I MUSCLE the belt over the pulleys. I aslo removed my tensioner pulley so it doesn't get in the way.
615K6 was too loose for me.
