test your coild. With the engine running and wearing some gloves pull off the coils one att a time. Hold a screwdriver close to one of the electrodes. If the spark is big its ok if the spark is small or nonexistant teplace the coil. I had the same problem and it was the coil.

or you can lick the tip of your finger and touch the coil if you pass out or get light headed the coil is fine

I thought I had the glove on all the way and I thought I wasnt touching the metal of the screwdriver but apparently I was. Well it woke me up and the screwdriver went flying out of my hand and put a huge gash in the drywall. Fixed my misfire though :tup:
let me know what it turns out to be....the going in and out of power....my cars doing the same thing and i was also reading misfire. I replaced my stock plug wires with MSD's and its still doing the same thing. Its gotta be either spark plugs or a bad coil.

I changed my spark plugs, and Put MSD wires on, and a new fuel filter and the car still does it. If you figure out the problem before I do, please let me know. Next im gonna put msd coils on and see if that fixes it, if not then maybe its my injectors???

It is his catalytic converter that is causing the problem. Don't waste your money on all this MSD stuff, it's not going to fix your problem and it's a waste of money.
first off I got the MSD wires for christmas. 2nd im Turbocharged so upgrading my ignition system is nothing but a +. 3rd. I dont have a cat.

Not much going on, replaced my Kenwood double din stereo with a Pioneer double din, the Kenwood had problems. Then replaced my power inverter for my reverse...
Hi all new to the community here. I have a 2014 RS 6 speed manual... and so about a year ago my tail lights got cracked and eventually the plastic housing...
