  • What is the best way to take off on a race

I don't think your going to see that much of a difference. Your still going to get the same type of launch if your in drive or 1st. The only difference your going to make is if you shift from 1st -> 2nd -> drive is that you will be able hold the rpms for longer. Which in anycase doesn't have that much benefits. You'll probably end up damaging your transmission after a while fooling around with it.

This is all completely wrong. Put it in Drive and press the gas.

Actually I like to get my car up to about 110mph, then I slam it all the way down to 1st. This way the rpms are really high and I can pull a lot harder. Sometimes i'll do this when I do my stare and drive, then i'll just throw it in park and stop on the dime.

anyway, put it in drive and step on the gas. seriously. manually shifting an auto is useless and a ricer thing.

thenyou get full revs of the engine, and camaros usually havr higher eng torque, and so the higher the RPMs, the faster you go in that gear, you know¿

OT: Is is not easier to make a normal question mark (?, two keystrokes), than an upside-down one (¿, five keystroles)?

¤ Yes it's easier to do a regular ?, but a ¿ is more interesting to look at. Kinda like 60* vs. 60° or 1/2 vs ½, just my 2¢
