  • starting problems??

    for some reason my car hasnt been wanting to start up lately it kinda turns once real slow then again real slow then about 3 quicker one's and then starts it seems like its not about to start but it starts everytime anyone know what could cause this?

        Are they dirty or corroded? If they are then yes, by all means clean them up real good. Once they are clean, if the problem persists, check the ground and power terminal wires going to your battery.

            yup ............. my 96 and 98 both i had to change the starter because of starting issues ................... your symptoms are similar to my 96 ..........when u put the key on 2nd click before the start, do you hear the fuel pump noise? ..........

              You can take your vehicle to Autozone and they can check your battery and starter while it's on the vehicle. You should check your battery first as well as the cables for the battery. If they are corroded, replace them. A lot of people don't realize that the corrosion can go beneath the insulation and create a poor connection. Cleaning the connectors, in this case, will not fix the problem.
