p1870 indicates transmission slippage, does it not? Definitely have your tranny checked out.

thing is the tranny doesnt slip at all...sometimes shifts hard but rarely...the caode says short circiut to battery on the tranny code what does this mean?Comment

well i changed the 02 sensor on the driver side manifold and cleared the codes and wah la my car passed inspection...after failing to pass when i cleared the codes the 1st time...reason they failed me is the 02's and egr didnt read so they wouldnt allow a sticker so we fixed the o2 on the left side manifold and cleared the codes...drived it around to make sure the computer resets and got it inspected again and it worked...it even made my other codes go away...all we did was clean the egr and replace 1 o2 at the manifold. ended up costing 112$ :( but oh well its fixed for awhile now.Comment
