I been thinking about putting a 160 thermostat in for a while. Does any one know what type of stock thermostat I have(97Rs)? Also I would not exactly call myself a mechanic but anyways how hard is it to install one of these things for a average guy like me. The reason why i want to install it because some prick at pepboys said it would cost me 60 buck for them to install and if it is easy as everyone says it is i dont really want to fork out 60 extra bucks for them to sit around for a hour and then decide to put it in. What is your fianl opinion about getting this mod. Is it worth the little money. THX for the replys.

If I'm not mistaken, it's a 44mm, 195* in there stock. It's simple to do this one yourself! Go to the technical datebase this site has on the home page, it had instructions, and even pictures.
