My wife was driving home today in the Firebird and said she could smell smoke in the interior like something burning. She also said that when this happened the radio started acting weird. When she got home I checked the car out and everything seemed normal. Any ideas what it could be?

If it were me, I'd start pulling the dash apart and let me nose do the talking. I wouldn't risk neglecting the odor, then having the car on the road and catching fire.

Is the dash simple to take apart? I won't have much time this weekend since I have to work all weekend until Monday.

I won't go as far to say it's simple, but it's definately time consuming. I'm just giving my opinion though. Some women (my wife!) always says she smells something. Sometimes...it's me :naughty:
