Ok so while trying to take off my old manifolds i ran into a problem, my tranny dipstick got jammed between the engine and the firewall when i was swapping in the new engine and now its preventing me from getting the back pass bolt out:mad: So i was thinking about it and found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Flexi...70923825QQrdZ1 since my rubber piece in the tranny is going bad anyways from me shoving it back in there when it came out (it now leaks)
Would this bee a a fine replacement?

do you have the rubber grommet, or the o-rings for sealing the dipstick? A while back I had to get a new grommet for my 700-4R in the bird, and that just cost like $3 from a dealer.
other than the costs savings, it looks like the braided piece should fit.

Well one reason i want it is to clean up the engine bay and so there isnt a big red knob that says "Tranny/lock"
