  • value of wrecked camaros?

I had the pleasure of wrecking my car 4 days before christmas this year :( , and I am wondering what the car is worth now. It has condiderable body damage on the drivers side(t-boned)and isn't totalled but really is not worth fixing givin the market for other f-bodies now. Mechanically it is fine, runs drives, and everything like normal. The interior is good, and the whole rest of the car is good. Im trying to get rid of it to anybody who needs parts or whatever else from it. The motor has 111k, its a 3.4, the drivetrain is in good shape. Anyone know what I could get for it?

Unfortunately, the sad truth is it would be hard to sell if it was in perfect shape, let alone wrecked. If it's not worth fixing then it's probably been reduced to only worth a couple grand for a parts car.

I hate to be the one to say that too, these are such good cars...

yeah dont feel bad my firebird was rear-ended 2 weeks ago tuesday. not much fun but i'm in the same boat. prolly isnt totalled but i am prolly gonna take the fix money and the money from scrappin it and getting a Z28. but yeah i'm currently looking at what i could get for my car b/c its only the rear driver's side quarter tail, and half the bumper so the rest of the car is good and mechanically sound. anyone has input now would be the time to chime in for both our sakes. good luck and keep posted on whats goin on.

The only frame area that is bent is the rollbar section of the roof being bent in about an inch, so that was the kicker in how much it would be to repair it. I am also tryin to upgrade to a Z28 now, I'll be stopping by a junkyard tomorrow to get an offer. I can sell it as a parts car privately as well, but I'm on break from college and need to get a car before I go back, so I'll have to see what I can do. Some people have said I wont get dirt for it there, but Ill ask for 1500, then see if i can get 1k for it, depending on what they offer. Its mechanically fine, any other recommendations as to where I could get the most for it or how much its worth? thanks

I crashed mine pretty bad this summer. It's all body damage and a lot of it. Luckily for me, my friend is a body mechanic so he is going to fix and paint it for a good price. I just have to get the new parts. If I didn't know him, it would not be worth fixing at all.

Rip it apart and sell, sell, sell the parts on ebay or camaroz28.com in there for sale section.

Thing is, I just dont have time to sell it part by part. That would get me the most money, but I need a ride before the second week of January. Im definately gettin rid of it, I decided that after I got the first estimates on it  .Im going to the yard today, wish me luck. thanks
