I'm going to be putting the 00+ manifolds on my 99, and I was thinking about getting a 2000 or newer Y87 VIN to reflash my PCM, but.....My car doesn't have an EGR valve, it just has a tube on it from the exhaust manifold to the intake.
Do the 2000+ have a valve, or just the tube? If they have the valve, I may be stuck, because th PCM may start looking for a valve, and throw a code when it doesn't find it, or will it?

Mine has the CA emissions set-up (NB7 I believe it is), that may be the difference....so, I may need to find an NB7 or equivalent 2000...hmmm
Anybody in Northern California have 2000+ Y87 A4?

So went out to start the Camaro and no start, batteries are good just hear a thud sound, started up fine last Friday. Check the fuses and the battery...
Working on getting my 99 Camaro back in action. Long story short, got parked in the garage about 5 years ago (kids, career stuff ect.) trying to get her...
I have a 15 year boy now (crazy how time flies from when I was a teenager on here!) and his first car will be the old Camaro.
