  • i replaced my spark plugs, im happy

everyone said it was really hard, but i found it wasnt so bad. Im guessing it was kinda easier because i have a 2000 and pacesetter headers. I used the Bosch Platinum Fusion plugs, and i think there really is a small difference.
Is it ok to change the plugs and not the wires? I will be changing those in a week or two

i have a 98 with pacesetters and the only 2 plugs i ever have a problem with changing are the 2 farthest back on the passanger side. I just cant seem to get my wrench in there to get them out

did you have trouble with those?

i had a little problem getting my spark plug socket into the front passenger side because there wasnt enough spce for my rachet so i had to get an ajustable wrench and kinda work it out

yea spark plugs are easy when you have headers. Try doing them on a 95-99 fbody and you will have a few choice words coming out of your mouth. ;)

eh, i was skeptical to swap my spark plugs 6 months ago, and now a week ago i dropped my crossmember and raised my engine to do my oil pan, so these seem to be a launching pad for the confidence to do more difficult repairs, plugs were one of the first things i did

my biggest concern/worry is if i didnt tighten em up enough. :(

other than that its a pretty easy job.

The first time I did mine I was also concerned about them being tightened enough and also not overtightenign them.
