Yes I learned reprogramming it resets the PCM but mine is very consistent at 150-300 miles of travel. Usually interstate travel kills it the fastest, wheras cruising around town doesn't. I think I'll just go back to my 180 - thanks for the info though. Hypertech recommended I just run the 180, so fine.

Hey Dominic...."#1 - Our cars will fly. I went so far past the 125 mark on my Camaro down I-10 the other night I was into the voltage gauge, I just let off before I got a ticket."
How much did that cost ya? heh heh. Thanks,
JAM
02 Firebird GT

JAM - just the fuel man... just the fuel.
Formula - it would work only if you could get a 2000PCM or have it programmed as a 2000, sadly it does not work on 99 GM code.
Dewey - the 87 octane and 93 octane performance enhancements is essentially a change in the air/fuel mix plus a healthy timing increase across the RPM range until just before detonation. They advance the 93 tuning a little further than the 87 tuning and usually eek a little more power out of the car that way, sometimes more than others.

The factories tune for average drivers who might buy low-octane gasoline and lug the engine. Our calibrations are engineered for drivers who care about performance and use premium-grade fuel. Gains of 10 to 20 horsepower with 3 to 7 tenths of a second improvement in acceleration times from 0 to 70 mph are typical some improvements are even greater.
Hypertech Power Tuning is emission-legal in all 50 states and does not void the vehicle’s factory warranty.
(I like the artsci link, it explains what they do.)

No I'm just running the 180. I'm handling it okay since my fans kick on properly to use the 180 now, and it at least never sees over 200degrees instead of hitting 230+ now.
(The gauge never shows it, Im just going by fan turn on temperatures).2002 5-spd NBM Camaro

No. I need to locate a dyno near me thats reasonable, and then locate some money to do the runs.
If anyone knows of a good dyno in the tallahassee area please let me know. If any of you would like to chip in $5 or something to see a good dyno run, I would put it towards the run and do it as soon as possible.2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
