Don't run the tire pressures high... run them at what they're supposed to be at... the money you save in gas won't compare to the money you spend on new tires...

well i run the presure for the tires where there ment to be and im running 245/50/16's 3.42 gears ect. i dont plan on modding it i did at first and i had added a cutout and intake but i removed both because i almost bought a ls1 car but ive now decided to just drive it until i can build up a little more credit and trade it for a truck. its just killing me on how bad of mileage im getting and im not evebn hauling anything other than myself about 90% of the time.
A few months ago I noticed my MPG went down. It turned out to be the fuel regulator was leaking into the vacuum line. This didn't change a lot, maybe 3mpg on the high way. Very easy to check, pull the vacuum line off and check for gas.
well i think i found out what was going on. one night i was leaving a friends house and my brakes quit completely well i rode up the road a lil and checked it out and brake fluid was pouring everywhere. i took it too shop the next day thinking it was a torn or busted line and told them to fix line and bleed the brakes well we got to lookign and the calipers were frozen and the brakes have been holding and the roters were all gouged up and pads were gone. one of the calipers had to be replaced too.
Ya gotta love it when you find the problem! Way to go!

So it is recommended to run the tire pressure at 32 psi? I keep mine a little high (38psi). Max pressure for the tire is 44psi.
