  • AutoZone/SES need help PLEASE.

Took my car to AutoZone and had it scanned and it gave me a "303" code. I think I remember someone saying that AutoZone's codes here are different from the actual codes. Can anyone confirm this or are they the same codes?

My friend said it is a Cylinder #3 misfire. Do I just take it to a shop and tell them I have a cylinder #3 misfire...is it a plug, wire, coil?

    Thanks guys...more background info is

well I had a cylinder 6 misfire not long ago and all I did was change the spark plugs. The solved the problem. If I were you just change the plugs and wires and if it still messed up then go for the coils. My car is not running well right now, might be teh O2 sensor or the injectors are really clogged, but its not the cylinder 6. Good luck with your car.

If I were to just take it to a shop and say I have a misfire on cylinder #3, it shouldn't be that hard for them to determine what it is?

Someone said it could be anything from plug, wire, low compression, or even injector.
