Fix my blinker! haha

[Stock98camaro]

This is nuts. The other day my blinker didn't come on, instead it was a solid green light. So I think, no big deal, I will just replace my blinker light. Well apparently, its not the easiest thing to get to, so after taking out my headlight, I easily replace the nasty bulb. Now I hit the Hazards to test... Wtf? My front blinkers alternate instead of coming on at the same time (the best way to describe it is to think of a police car (which I don't mind)). So now I try the left blinker. No work, just a solid green light. I hold the blinker handle down and the rear bulb works however, but it doesn't blink. I am confused as hell. Why are my front alternating? I know the front works because the hazards work, but why wont the blinker work?

first of all that **** is confusing and what year car do you have and is it a camaro because with my front blinkers i put it up on the ramps undid a few screws and changed the bulb

my car has that problem ... but if i hit the driver tail light it will blink and work again ... and it will stay solid green when it doesn't work it will do it over and over

Sorry for the confusion. I realize it could have been written better although I was heading out the door when I posted this and was in a hurry. It is a 98 Camaro and I got the new bulb put in. Let me try to clarify some stuff.

-I replaced the bulb
-The right blinker works fine
- Since I have replaced the bulb the front blinkers (when in hazzard mode) will alternate like a police car.
-The left blinker does not work, but the front left bulb obviously still works considering the hazzards still work.
-When I click the left blinker all I see is a solid green light on the blinker indicator on the dash and nothing happens with the blinker.
-If I lightly press the blinker switch (so it doesn't keep blinking, just enough for a blink or two (hard to explain)) the rear blinker will stay on as long as I am holding down the switch.

blinker fluid is only $2 bucks, come on!

oh and the turn signal lights are easy change them from under the car you dont have to take the headlight out just in screw 2 bolts on that piece of plastic under the car and it should be a little flap and you can just reach your hand up in it and get the bulb out the wire is long enought that you can bring it out throught the flap and change it and just put it back in, you did alot of work just taking the headlight out

so which one isn't working the front or rear turn signal?

Both arn't working. But they will both light up when the hazzards are on, so it's not the bulb.

oh and the turn signal lights are easy change them from under the car you dont have to take the headlight out just in screw 2 bolts on that piece of plastic under the car and it should be a little flap and you can just reach your hand up in it and get the bulb out the wire is long enought that you can bring it out throught the flap and change it and just put it back in, you did alot of work just taking the headlight out

What fuses can I check? Also, replacing the bulb isn't the problem. The problem is getting them to work as a blinker. Maybe I should take video of it and let yall see for yourself. Brb, gonna make a video.

im just trying to figure it out it might not be a fuse but check ur manual or the inside of the door where the fuses are just read which ones say signals or buy some blinker fluid

may not be a fuse...may be the actual relay for the blinkers...

yeah, but the same relay controls both right and left, so i doubt it is the relay, do you by chance have LED bulbs, because i know for a fact when i put LEDs in some wierd *** **** happened, when i would turn on the left turn signal all my interior lights would flash with it, but the right worked fine, i switched to incandecent and everything went back to normal
