There are only 4 pages of search results.
The server deletes alllllll the other pages over time, cause obviously the server doesnt have enough space to hold old threads.

Dont take it offensively, it gets old hearing the same questions again, so people must make sure everyone searches first, so we dont have 4 pages of the same thread

              Re: Underdrive for a 3.8?

I have the zzp W/P pulley, its alluminum so its a little lighter.
Which MIGHT help with the W/Ps lifespan
(still doesnt justify the cost, cause w/ps are cheap).

Some people (that know what they're doing) will take off their belt at
the track for 1 run. But this is more for if they're close to breaking a record
and just need 1-2 more hp. (ya right)

This will of course cause the engine/coolant to heat up extremely quick!
A cold engine is not going to make much HP.
A hot engine will have alot of Knock Retard which is very bad.
As well as having a high chance of warping internals, etc!

I definately would not recommend anyone do this. Especially if said person does not know how to tune or is not Logging his run in a tuner program (so he can see whats going on).

                      Re: Underdrive for a 3.8?

Just a FYI, removing the belt is worth about .2-.3 in the quarter, more than 1-2hp....been there, done that, tried it more than enough times to prove it....

Where do you get Electric water pumps for the 3.8, and the new shorter belt?

                          Sorry to hijack
