Ok my car is a daily driver(800ish miles a week) but also building it for track. I know the "free" modifications has been gone over. But i'm talking about narrowing it down for track(1/4 drag) cars? Essentially straight line performance, is my plan for this car. So things like removing the front sway bar for weight? Besides making my handling sh***y when I turn or whenever I want to drive on a course, any negative effects besides poor handling performance? If besides poor handling performance for example without other serious negative effects any "free" modifications more aimed to straight line/drag cars? Since I can't afford any power adders as I am a full time student driving 800+ miles a week I figure I could start doing "free" or close to "free" mods like weight reduction and aim to my drag goal. Plus since I essentially drive in a "straight" line on the highway this could help my gas mileage. Anyway discuss away and thanks for reading.
