    Re: Oil pan

In the assumption that the 3.4 oil pan is as hard to take off as the 3.8, why in the heck would you want to go through that just to paint it? kinda goofy if you ask me. Do a lot of people comment on your ugly oil pan?

        haha
        It probably has rust
He is probably trying to sand off the rust, use rust protector, then paint over it to protect it.

EDIT: JINXXX!!!! What you think you are faster than me grasshoppa?

Cast aluminum pans feature a polished finish and built in drain plug. A socket head cap screw kit is included to mount the pan to the transmission. Adds 3 additional quarts of transmission fluid over stock transmission pan.

                  * Extra oil capacity = more cooling ability
                  * No modifications to the dipstick needed.
                  * Some models include fluid pickup extension and gasket.
                  * B&M Deep Pans feature built-in drain plugs and mounting hardware.
