when im going and i hit the gas my car seems to bogg down just for about 2 seconds and then it just speeds off a fast as can be. is that the fuel filter or somthing else? i just changed it about 3 months ago.
also why is it that my car has a better start in overdrive than it does in just plain old drive?
i havent changed the spark plugs/wires since the car was made but i have them. im changing those out when i put my headers on this weekend.
im not sure about the traction control? but i just to the car out and the only other way i could describe it is like turbo chargers havein turbo lag its like it takes a second for the power to get to the wheels or somthin?
im puttin my 4.10s and an lsd on this weekend. do you think that will help at all.
and i live in tallahassee
Definately change the plugs/wires then, how many miles does the engine have on it? And yes, putting in 4.10's with lsd will help it get up and go a little better, but not by much.
it just hit 58k and the lower the gear (3.73s, 4.10s ect) the more acceleration and less topend and its the other way around for higher gears (3.08s and 3.23s). i didnt put 3.43 cause im not sure which they would be categorized in? their pretty much the in the middle. they are the best of both worlds i guess?
I thought that the bigger the gears, the more top end you get. The smaller the gears(though not too small) the more acceleration you have.
I could be wrong though.
I dont know who you are questioning.
But you are correct!
bigger the gear (numerically lower # like 2.73s) you will have more top end
lower the number (numerically higher # like 4.10s) you will have more acceleration and little reduced top end(maybe)
I know its confusing on how they say it

I'd say the middle for an auto is 3.42
middle for a manual is 3.73
Its all opinion and personal preference though

i have a auto and id have to say im not very happy with my 3.42s thats why im not even thinking about 3.73s cause i want to feel a huge difference not just a slight diff thats why im going with the 4.10s and hopefully it works out
