My g/f has 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Yesterday her brakes went out and the culprit seems to be low brake fluid. Her resavoir has 2 seperate tanks. One tank is completely empty, one is just very, very low...below the minimum level. My questions is, are the brakes going to have to be bled? B/c if they do she is going to have to go to a mechanic b/c I dont know about this one.

Re: Not a camaro but someone can still answer...
There is a leak somewhere. That is the only way that the fluid will drop like that. Take it to a shop so they can find the leak and repair it.
If you want to do it yourself, check the inside of all of the tires and see if any of them are wet with brake fluid. Check for leaks under the vehicle.

2nd that, but brakes are one of those items that when I'm only 99% sure I did it right, I take it to the mechanic. Low on fluid is a red flag that something is leaking. Fill it up, bleed it and figure out where the fluid went. Check the caliper / drum pistons to be sure they aren't stuck and track all the tubing back to the master. If you can't figure out what is leaking or where the fluid went, I'd tow it to the shop and have them look it over.

Re: Not a camaro but someone can still answer...
are your brakes good?i put new rotors and brakes on my gfs car awhile back and they were so bad that the calipers went in far enough to suck almost all of the fluid out of the master cylinder.when i was compressing the calipers for the new brakes a bunch of fluid overflowed out of the master cylinder.
